(2016, April) Noam Golergant played Oliver in Oliver!

What do you like most about the character you play?

I like that he sings and dances. In the movie he doesn’t sing and in the musical there is acting, singing and dancing which is fun.

I like the fact that he is a very calm boy, extremely polite and never screams. In my opinion I really like him and his attitude. I also like that he is friends with Dodger, because it’s fun that we do things together in the show.

I love to sing solos and my favourite song is “Where is love”.

What have you enjoyed most about the rehearsal process?

I enjoyed everything! I liked working with the directors and the cast and I looked forward to rehearsals.

One of my favourite rehearsals was rehearsing the fighting scene between Oliver and Noah with professionals. I am really looking forward for this amazing Musical.

What has been the hardest thing to do when preparing for this role?

The hardest things to do when preparing for this role was to grow my hair as I like my hair really short and for the role I had to grow my hair long. Also some rehearsals were late in the evenings, so going to sleep late was sometimes hard, especially the day after I was tired sometimes. In the beginning it was hard to sing and dance together, but now I know all my steps! I am very excited and looking forward to the show.
