The Hobbit - cast
Following extensive auditions on 12 November, directors Julie Fraser and Natalia Sanchez have selected the cast.
Principals:
Bilbo Baggins ... Tiernan Taylor
Gandalf ... Magnus Chan
Thorin .. Sophie Boyer
Balin ... Tali Golergant
Bombur ... Francesca Andrich
Kili ... Alexander Sweerts
Fili ... Benjamin Teppler
Beorn ... Martina Sardinelli
Bard ... Maude Juste
Master ... Abigail Bodenham
Captain ... Barbara Shkurenko
Azog ... Noam Golergant
Gollum ... Eva Puc
Elrond ... Holly Fraser
Woodland Elf King ... Fionn McNulty
All 30 youth participants have several roles including those of woodsmen, trolls, goblins, wolves, elves, laketowners, spiders and last but not least, Smaug, the dragon!
Rehearsals are well underway and the group is busy exploring how to bring this wonderful script to life. Tickets will be on sale in the new year.
