ACTING ON IMPULSE: Graeme du Fresne and Janice Dunn held a two-hour workshop which explored the wide world of acting choices and how they lead to connection with character. Exercises were used to discover how making a choice in the moment can unlock creativity and lead to postive cast and company development. Some of the work was linked to Meisner style approach (2014, October)

ACTING TECHNIQUES: Peta Lily held a three hour workshop on acting techniques to find meaning in the script (2012)

CLOWNING; Peta Lily held two workshops (youth and then adults) on clowning techniques (2010)

COMEDY; Peta Lily held a two hour workshop to support the NWTC youth group (2012)

EXPRESS YOUR VISION (WRITING) Janice Dunn offered a two hour writing workshop helping people turn an idea into a written piece of work giving advice on strucutre, storyboards, threads and feedback (2016, January) More details...

FINDING AND SWITCHING CHARACTER WITH SPEED Lawrence Evans held a workshop  inspired by Oh What a Lovely War  (2014, January)

LAUGHTER, OUR COMMON HOME (October 2016) Mitch Mitchelson worked alongisde the Shout Out! project which aims to integrate youth refugees with NWTC's youth group through theatre. This was a physicality-based, two- hour workshop and included the introduction of masks.

LISTEN AND RESPOND (January 2017) Philippa Strandberg-Long worked along NWTC's youth theatre to help them find ways to act honestly and keep in the moment with a series of exercises designed to help them truly listen and respond.

MEISNER (January 2017) Philippa Strandberg-Long shared her passion by running an adult, one-day workshop "introduction to Meisner technique".  More details...

MIDDLE EARTH! A PHYSICAL AND COMIC LANDSCAPE (October 2016) Mitch Mitchelson supported the preparation of The Hobbit by inviting the youth theatre to develop comic characters and lazzis during a two-hour workshop.

MIME AND MOVEMENT Mike McCormack ran a two-hour youth workshop to help the group explore ways in which to tell stories (June 2016) More details ...

IMPROVISATION The Chandeliers, fresh from their C.S.I.- Crime Scene Improvisation show, shared their improvisational skills with two workshops (1) NWTC youth theatre - supporting Bertie's War work and (2) Adult one-day workshop (October 2017)
