Our flagship productions, directed and produced by volunteer members. Original or represented, our creatives add their own spin to it!

Café Villon is an informative and entertaining social evening for people interested in theatre to meet in a relaxed and friendly way. We do table readings or rehearsed readings of scripts, socialize and enjoy.

We have hosted anglophone theatre groups from all over Europe like Crime Scene Improvisation from England, Independent collaborators such as Peta Lilly from the UK and local Theatre groups such as Pirate Productions Luxembourg (Pirates) or Berliner Grund Theatre (BGT) and we look to do more.

NWTC organizes ad-hoc workshops throughout the year. Most visiting tutors offer support to ongoing productions, youth theatre and also offer workshops which are for all interested in developing acting/performance skills. The latter is not production driven but based on the tutor's particular skill/passion.

Running from September to March, experienced directors, actors and teachers conduct workshops offering youth the opportunity to experience different theatrical processes . This may lead to showcases or productions either classical, magical, modern or improvised.

NWTC is a founding member of Festival of European Anglophone Theatrical Societies (FEATS). We take turns with other theatre groups to bring our flagship productions to be featured. We are also proud to host FEATS once every few years in Luxembourg!

A discretionary award scheme set up by the Club in the loving memory of Richard Chappel who was an active, enthusiastic and talented member of the club, who died tragically in 1981. One or more grants up to a maximum of 1000 Euros/year will be granted to chosen applicants for courses, either in Luxembourg or abroad, in any branch of the dramatic arts.
